My favorite time to be in the city is early in the morning while most people are still asleep. Throw in a downtown Austin senior session and you basically have my favorite day all in one! Early in the morning is my favorite part of every day, no matter where I am, actually. Whether I am on vacation or headed to a photoshoot, that is my favorite time to be out and about. I love it because there are no people around, I get to explore without having to worry about where I am going or what I am doing and it’s quiet. There’s freedom and I feel as if it’s all to myself. There’s something so wonderful about feeling like I am only sharing it with the few people who share the same joy in those early morning strolls.

Celeste and her mom met me on a cloudy February morning for her downtown Austin senior session. We had Starbucks and got to explore some areas I usually can’t shoot in because the businesses are open or they are in direct sun. Like this blue garage! This is at an auto shop on South Congress and if you know me, then you already knew I am obsessed with this door. Hello perfection! AND- do you see Celeste’s first outfit?! Black skinny jeans, a striped top and a jean jacket- it’s so perfect!! All of her outfits are so cute and so her! I love that.
